Superintendents from north Louisiana met during the winter term in the Thomas Assembly Center on the campus of Louisiana Tech University
to discuss current issues in PK-12 education and to identify solutions to many of the challenges currently being faced by students and teachers
in our state. The meeting was particularly special as a welcome to our campus
was extended by President Les Guice. President Guice expressed his appreciation to the superintendents for their efforts to provide a quality education to all the students of north Louisiana and for preparing so many outstanding students to attend our University. These regional meetings of the superintendents are hosted every two months on our campus by our
College of Education. The meetings provide opportunities not only to showcase
the great things taking place in our college but also to increase and enhance the collaborative relationships we have with our district and regional partners. We are very appreciative and enthusiastic about having this additional opportunity to share the rich educational expertise and experiences we offer at the College of Education.
