Dr. Lynne Nielsen, Assistant Professor of Mathematics Education in the Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Leadership in the College of Education at Louisiana Tech University, along with colleagues Dr. Laura Kent at the University of Arkansas and Dr. Susan Empson from the University of Texas at Austin, collaborated to author the article titled, "The Richness of Children's Fraction Strategies." The article is featured in the September 2015 edition of Teaching Children Mathematics, published by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.
